Hardware Engineer
Our new Hardware Engineer will be responsible for the design of state-of-the-art powertrain testing products. Key projects will include tasks in analog signal conditioning and interfacing along with digital processing for data acquisition and control purposes.
Requirements include a BSEE (or MSEE) with at least 2 years of experience in a majority of the following areas of expertise:
- Digital design: FPGA design using VHDL/Verilog, hardware and firmware development with embedded DSP processors
- Familiarity with schematic capture and PCB layout tools
- C/C++ programming experience
- Understanding of x86 hardware and operating systems
- Design of electronics to interface with instrumentation and other real-world devices
- Understanding of automotive powertrain electronics and controls
- Experience and knowledge of high-performance motor drives for test and dynamometer control purposes a plus
- Good engineering problem-solving skills, including testing and achieving EMC standards
- Self motivated and able to accomplish complicated tasks with little supervision
- Good communication, organization and interpersonal skills
Sales Engineer
We are expanding our winning sales team in order to serve more clients, and are seeking a driven candidate for the position of Sales Engineer. The successful candidate will identify and pursue new sales opportunities, manage customer relationships, understand competitive situations and develop plans for how to win the business.
Requirements include:
- BS in Engineering/equivalent and at least 5 years of technical experience
- At least 2 years of technical sales, sales support or customer program management experience
- Engine/powertrain testing or other automotive development tools experience desired
Senior Applications Engineer
Responsibilities include applications development and commissioning of complex state-of-the-art engine and transmission test systems. Positions require Masters Degree, or foreign equivalent, in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Electronics, and experience with
- high-speed digital data acquisition and test laboratory insturmentation, applying dynamometers/drives to engine testing, and
- ECU and engine calibration process with engine mapping and engine modeling utilizing MATLAB, Simulink and MBC Toolbox.
