On April 1, 2025, A&D welcomed a new chapter in our company’s history with the official merger of A&D Engineering, Inc. and A&D Technology in the Americas. This significant milestone brings together our medical, weighing, inspection, and vehicle technologies business units under one unified umbrella. To commemorate this important occasion, we were honored to host A&D’s Director and President, Yasunobu Morishima, at our Americas headquarters in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
President Morishima traveled from Japan to join a full day of presentations and discussions with managers from A&D’s North and South American business units. Leaders from all functional areas gathered in Ann Arbor for a comprehensive summit focused on celebrating successes and planning for the future.
The following day, President Morishima had the opportunity to visit several key automotive customer locations and several A&D Weighing product dealers, to see firsthand how A&D products are being used across industries. These visits offered valuable perspective and reinforced the real-world impact of our technologies.
The entire visit was productive, insightful, and thoroughly enjoyed by all involved. It was an honor to host our global leadership and to showcase the strength, talent, and potential of our teams here in the Americas.
