FPGA Boards

User Programmable

  • Equipped with an FPGA that allows users to program easily.
  • The Kintex-UltraScale FPGA from Xilinx is used, and its high-speed operation at up to 200 MHz enables highly accurate real-time simulation for applications that require high-speed response, such as Motor HILS.
  • In addition to the large RAM capacity, multiple FPGA boards can be linked through a 5Gbps high-speed communication between boards, supporting even larger models.

High Speed Interface

  • High-speed analog and digital I/O available for various applications.

Streamlines debugging process with a variety of verification functions.

  • Fault simulation circuit allows the simulation of a short circuit, ground fault, or wire breakage in a real world circuit.
  • The self-diagnostic function enables not only daily inspections but also isolation of problems in the event of malfunction.
  • The data logging function enables logging of internal signals of high-speed operations, which can be used for detailed verification of plant model development.

Efficient use of resources by separating CPU and FPGA models according to the application.

  • The CPU model can be used to run slower mechanical models (e.g., vehicle models), set parameters for FPGA models, and monitor signals.
  • FPGA models execute electrical models (e.g. motor models) that require high-speed operation.

Support for two types of FPGA model building tools

  • Support for System Generator from Xilinx and HDL Coder from Mathworks.
